Utilties stocks slide

Among the components of the S&P BSE Utilities index, Adani Transmission Ltd (down 4.01%), Waaree Renewables Technologies Ltd (down 3.36%),Reliance Power Ltd (down 2.89%),Reliance Infrastructure Ltd (down 1.62%),KPI Green Energy Ltd (down 1.37%), were the top losers. Among the other losers were JSW Energy Ltd (down 1.33%), Adani Power Ltd (down 1.3%), Adani Green Energy Ltd (down 0.97%), Va Tech Wabag Ltd (down 0.77%), and Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd (down 0.66%). On the other hand, Antony Waste Handling Cell Ltd (up 3.96%), Jaiprakash Power Ventures Ltd (up 2.77%), and Rattanindia Power Ltd (up 2.71%) turned up.At 13:45 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 181.41 or 0.3% at 61326.25.The Nifty 50 index was up 52.65 points or 0.29% at 18212.6.The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was down 57.33 points or 0.2% at 28695.26.The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 13.5 points or 0.15% at 8894.56.On BSE,1606 shares were trading in green, 1769 were trading in red and 171 were unchanged.Powered by Capital Market – Live News
