Vikas Lifecare updates on achieved milestones by the company; Stock trades flat

Vikas Lifecare Limited has announced to the exchanges regarding few remarkable achieved milestones rooting from the company’s continuous initiatives and activities on Wednesday trading session.

1. Publication of book titled ‘Nano composite Pigments for NIR Reflective Coatings’ by LAP.

Book authored by Company’s Directors- Vikas Garg and Dr. Richa Sharma, Senior Vice President- Dr. S.K. Dhawan on Nano composite Pigments for NIR Reflective Coatings which is being published by prestigious ‘LAP’ Lambert Academic Publishing House, which is known for publication of authentic scientific research works worldwide.

The book explores the synergistic effect of metal oxides with fly ash. Core shell particles are developed using metal oxide as shell and fly ash as core. The prepared core shell particles proved to be a cost-effective material which also showed good NIR reflectivity, self-cleaning ability and antibacterial activity.

2. Dr. S.K. Dhawan, company’s Sr. Vice President (R & D) again featured among top 2% Scientists worldwide by Stanford University, USA.

Stanford University has recently published an update of the list of the top 2% most widely cited scientists in different disciplines, the World’s Top 2% Scientists. This ranking, considered the most prestigious worldwide, is based on the bibliometric information contained in the Scopus database and includes more than 180,000 researchers from the more than 8 million scientists considered to be active worldwide, with 22 scientific fields and 176 subfields taken into account.

Dr. Dhawan is a well known Indian scientist working on various cutting-edge research in multiple fields of advance science which are aiming to improve environment, life, beneficial to overall sustainability, included by Stanford University in World’s Top 2% Scientists first in last decade and continued to be there since.

Dr. Dhawan is heading the Research and Development Dept. of the Company and under his able guidance the company has recently filed patents on “Recycling of Multi layered plastics (MLP) and converting into granules and products for Societal Applications” and “An Advanced process to re-process plastic waste like polyethylene bags and other plastic scrap like HDPE & PP into pallets and interlocking tiles for industrial applications”. Other focused research work is going on in the area of Smart Intelligent Coatings by designing nano calcium carbonate nano particles and waste water treatment.

Further, to promote the general advancement of Science and Technology of Polymers in the country and to ensure enhanced dialogue within the industry, exchange of information, Vikas Lifecare become Life Member of the Society of Polymer Science, India.

At around 1:26 PM, Vikas Lifecare was trading flat at Rs4.65 per piece on Sensex.
