Wipro unveils new global business line model to better serve clients

Wipro Limited, a prominent technology services and consulting firm, has announced the creation of four strategic global business lines (GBLs) to better align with clients’ evolving business needs and capitalize on emerging opportunities in high-growth market segments.

Wipro will now deliver capabilities to clients through four GBLs organized around cloud, enterprise technology and business transformation, engineering, and consulting under the new model. 

According to Thierry Delaporte, the CEO and Managing Director of Wipro Limited, the remarkable growth achieved by the company during their three-year transformation journey has resulted in the outgrowth of the initial two-business line model.

The new model reflects the company’s continued shift towards strategic bet areas, as well as its emphasis on leveraging the power of ‘One Wipro’ to meet clients’ full range of business and technology transformation objectives. The new updates will be effective from April 1, 2023.

Wipro has grown its revenue by 45% over the last ten quarters and has recently surpassed the annual run rate of $11 billion.
