Zuari Agro Chemicals resumes operations of NPK B Plant; Stock climbs ~3%

Zuari Agro Chemicals Limited has resumed operations of NPK B plant at Zuarinagar, Goa, from January 7, 2022, the company said in a filing on Saturday.

The company had informed on October 22, 2021, that its Plants were shut down due to a planned outage for Inspection of the Atmospheric Ammonia Storage Tank at the port which is meant for storage of the imported Ammonia as raw material for the NPK Plants.

At around 1.18 pm, Zuari Agro Chemicals Ltd was trading at Rs125.85 per share up by Rs3.45 or 2.82% from its previous closing of Rs122.40 per share on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs123.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs128.20 and Rs123.90 respectively.
