Aster DM Healthcare’s revenue in Q1FY19 grew by 14% yoy to Rs1,774.7cr. EBITDA in Q1FY19 grew by 211.1% yoy to Rs123.9cr vs. Rs39.8cr in Q1FY18 and Rs263.1cr in Q4FY18. EBITDA margins grew by 442bps yoy to 7% in Q1FY19 vs. 2.6% in Q1FY18. Company reported a PAT of Rs20.4cr in Q1FY19 vs. loss of Rs80cr in Q1FY18.
Revenues from hospital segment increased by 17% yoy to Rs897cr in Q1FY19 from Rs763cr in Q1FY18. This performance was driven by addition of new specialties, services and increase in beds.
EBITDA from hospital segment increased 184% yoy from Rs38cr in Q1FY18 to Rs108cr in Q1FY19, EBITDA margin stood at 12% in Q1FY19 vs. 5% in Q1FY18.
Revenues from clinics grew by 11% yoy to Rs453cr in Q1FY19 from Rs410cr in Q1FY18 due to new clinic set ups and higher footfalls.
EBITDA from clinics grew 59% yoy from Rs34cr in Q1FY18 to Rs54cr in Q1FY19, EBITDA margin stood at 11.8% in Q1FY19 vs. 8.3% in Q1FY18.
Revenues from pharmacy segment increased by 20% yoy to Rs472cr in Q1FY19 from Rs394cr in Q1FY18.
EBITDA in the pharmacy segment increased 16% yoy to Rs29cr in Q1FY19 vs. Rs25cr in Q1FY18. The EBITDA margin was at 6.1% in Q1FY19 compared to 6.2% in Q1FY18.
Aster DM Healthcare Ltd is currently trading at Rs. 179.50, up by 10.55 points or 6.24% from its previous closing of Rs. 168.95 on the BSE.
