United by a common business culture, a new alliance between Lawyered and InCourt News has been signed. The acquisition now makes Lawyered the forerunner in legal-tech services sector, enhancing the company’s future growth and performance. InCourt News brings in excellent services, in the form of sharing and disseminating meaningful information and legal updates in common understandable language for all.

InCourt News (IC) is a legal news app that selects relevant news from multiple sources and judgments from different Courts of India. The app summaries news and judgments in 60 words or less. All summarised stories contain headlines, a brief description along with its background and relevant images. Users get updated with plethora of latest legal updates in a nutshell. Lawyered’s mission being legal empowerment of people, this acquisition will create a synergy between the two solutions.

The acquisition is through an equity swap between the two entities. Sanjay Aggarwal from InCourt News is now on board of Lawyered, after the deal.
