ISACA Mumbai Chapter to host ISACA India Conference 2014

Scheduled on 26th and 27th July 2014, the event will bring together domain experts and professionals from across industries to share their insights on the next level of GRC.

The ISACA Mumbai Chapter is hosting the ISACA India Conference (IIC) 2014, a two-day event on the theme “GRC 2.0 for SMAC”.  Scheduled on 26th and 27th July 2014, the event will bring together domain experts and professionals from across industries to share their insights on the next level of GRC (governance, risk management and compliance). This will enable business to address security challenges related to the adoption of SMAC (Social, Mobile, Analytics and Cloud) technologies.
IIC 2014, to be held at Palladium Hotel, Mumbai, will include panel discussions, talks by thought leaders, and sessions by various stakeholders providing insightful perspectives on GRC 2.0. A one day pre-conference workshop is scheduled on 25th July 2014, which will have two parallel sessions on security and assurance.

Commenting on the announcement Vaibhav Patkar, President, ISACA Mumbai Chapter said, “ISACA India conference 2014 is culmination of some of the eminent names in information security and assurance fraternity providing insights the current technology and threat scenarios by sharing their experiences over the two days.  This annual event is looked up by CISOs, CIOs, IT / IS Auditors, Security Consultants and Security Implementers as a forum to understand the emerging issues in the security domain. On 26th July at 7pm, the India Growth Task Force (IGTF) of ISACA will announce the winners of the ISACA awards for organizations that have implemented IT Governance and Information Security.
