Bajaj Finance new loans book nearly doubles to 6.3M in Q2FY22, customer franchise reaches 52.8M

The Company acquired 2.4M new customers in Q2 FY22 as compared to 1.2M in Q2 FY21.

Bajaj Finance's customer franchise as of 30 September 2021 stood at 52.8M as compared to 44.1M as of 30 September 2020. The Company acquired 2.4M new customers in Q2 FY22 as compared to 1.2 M in Q2 FY21.

New loans booked during Q2 FY22 were 6.3M as compared to 3.6M in Q2 FY21.

As per the regulatory filing, assets under management (AUM) stood at approximately Rs166,900cr as of 30 September 2021 as compared to Rs137,090cr as of 30 September 2020. AUM in Q2 FY22, adjusted for IPO financing receivable grew by approximately Rs10,600cr.

Further, consolidated liquidity surplus stood at approximately Rs16,500cr as of 30 September 2021. The Company’s liquidity position remains strong.

The company continues to remain well capitalized with capital adequacy ratio (CRAR) of approximately 27.7% as of 30 September 2021.

Also, the company's  deposit book stood at approximately Rs28,700cr as of 30 September 2021 as compared to Rs21,669cr as of 30 September 2020. Deposit book in Q2 FY22 grew by approximately Rs750cr. .

On Sensex, Bajaj Finance closed at Rs7736.65 per piece marginally up.
