Voltas wins National Energy Conservation Award 2015

Conferred by the Ministry of Power's Bureau of Energy Efficiency, the award was presented to Voltas on National Energy Conservation Day by Piyush Goyal.

Voltas Ltd has been honoured with the First Prize in the category 'Manufacturers of BEE Star Labeled Appliances (Air Conditioner)', part of the National Energy Conservative Awards 2015. The company had previously won the same award in December 2013.

Conferred by the Ministry of Power's Bureau of Energy Efficiency, the award was presented to Voltas on National Energy Conservation Day by Piyush Goyal (Union Minister of State for Power, Coal and New & Renewable Energy).

Speaking on behalf of Voltas, Pradeep Bakshi, President and COO - UPBG & MCED,  said, “It is indeed a privilege to receive this prestigious award, as it recognises our endeavor, and our mission, to manufacture and promote energy-efficient products, consistently invest in innovative technology and make it sustainable. Since 1991, the National Energy Conservation Award has annually recognised manufacturers who have consistently made systematic efforts to create awareness about the use of energy-efficient appliances.
