Blue Star pares losses; to build greenfield plant in Jammu first and in Sri City later

The company plans to build a greenfield plant in Jammu first and later take up another plant in Sri City in Andhra Pradesh, ED & President B. Thiagarajan said on Thursday.

Blue Star is currently trading at Rs. 321.5, down by Rs. 7.3 or 2.22% from its previous closing of Rs. 328.8 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 320 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 336 and Rs. 313 respectively. So far 4108(NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2957.56 crore.
The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 398 on 24-Dec-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 274 on 18-Mar-2015. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 357.45 and Rs. 306.1 respectively.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 39.46 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 28.83 % and 31.71 % respectively.
The stock is currently trading above its 50 DMA.
