America's huge business interests in India and Donald Trump's friendship with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi may prevent Trump from putting strong restrictions on work visas. Which means there is some scope for relaxation in the proposed restrictions.
3. Industry pressure
Several heads of Indian IT companies are in talks to lobby against the restrictions on H-1B work visa programme. Inernational business interests can upset Donald Trump's plan of limiting the visa regime.
