Even as BSE Industrials and BSE metal along with BSE PSU bank index and BSE Auto gained more than 1%, the BSE IT index under-performed the broader market by gaining almost 0.17% or 16.43 points at 9955 levels.
Three IT stocks which were up by more than 5% today were Moser Baer, Financial Technologies India Limited (FTIL) and Kellton tech Solutions Limited.
Indian manufacturer of digital storage devices, Moser Baer have witnessed spurt in volume by more than 3.86 times today. Moser Baer touched high of Rs 8.48, up by 12.47%. It closed today at Rs 8.12 gaining 7.69%. For the past five quarters, the company is incurring losses.
Mumbai based Financial Technologies India Limited (FTIL) which provides platform and solutions for creating digital markets and marketplaces that enables price discovery and transaction efficiency across the industry segments. FTIL stock touched a high of 78.10 gaining 7.5%. The stock closed today at 76.45 gaining 5.16%. The net profit for Q2 FY17 was increased to Rs 28.44 crore as compared to Rs 12.36 crore for Q1 FY17.
IT solutions provider, Kellton Tech Solutions Limited, headquartered in Hyderabad, today touched a high of 134.9 gaining 9.76%. The stock closed today at 131.5 gaining 7%. The company’s revenue has grown at an average of 58% over the past four years. The company have given average EPS of 1.21 over the past four years.
