Niti Aayog agrees on incorporation of subsidiary of Shipping Corporation for demerger of non-core assets

Niti Aayog has concurred to the proposal of Incorporation of a Subsidiary Company.

Shipping Corporation of India Ltd has informed  to the exchange regarding incorporation of subsidiary company for Demerger of Non-Core Assets.

In continuation to the announcement dated September 17, 2021; the company informed that, The Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways has conveyed that the Niti Aayog has concurred to the proposal of Incorporation of a Subsidiary Company for hiving off the Non-Core Assets of the Company, said Shipping Corporation in a regulatory filing.

On Wednesday, Shipping Corporation of India ended at Rs141.25 apiece up by Rs0.65 or 0.46% on the BSE. The current market cap of the company is Rs6,549.15cr.
