SpiceJet settles with 737 MAX lessor CDB Aviation

The airline expects to start operations of MAX aircraft around the end of September 2021.

SpiceJet, India’s favourite airline, on Monday has announced that it has commercially agreed a settlement with CDB Aviation, another major lessor of MAX aircraft.

According to the company, this will add to already announced settlement with Avolon and grow its fleet of 737 MAX aircraft.

The airline expects to start operations of MAX aircraft around the end of September 2021, subject to regulatory approvals.

At around 3:25 PM, SpiceJet was trading at Rs69.80 apiece up by Rs0.15 or 0.22% from its previous closing of Rs69.65 apiece on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs69.60 per piece on Monday.
