Retail inflation for industrial workers remained almost flat at 7.02% in May compared to 7.08% in April mainly due to lower price of petrol.

The price of petrol has been raised by Rs 1.69 per litre effective midnight as there was a rise in global oil prices and exchange rates. Diesel prices were also hiked by Rs 0.50/litre. (ET)
