Transformers and Rectifiers India is having a profitable day on the bourses. The stock of the company has zoomed 8% intraday.
 
The stock has witnessed a spurt in volumes by more than 4.06 times, and has mainly surged as it has received order worth Rs 153 crore from GETCO.
 
The stock of the company in the last one year has surged 96%, outperforming the BSE Small-Cap index.
 
HDFC Mutual Fund and L&T Mutual Fund are the top two fund houses which have invested in the stock of the company.
 
Transformers & Rectifiers (India) Ltd is engaged in the manufacture of a wide range of transformers.

Transformers & Rectifiers India Ltd is currently trading at Rs 403.8, up by Rs 14 or 3.59% from its previous closing of Rs 389.8 on the BSE.
 
The scrip opened at Rs 401.5 and has touched a high and low of Rs 420 and Rs 396 respectively. So far 242032(NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs 516.87 crore.
 
The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 471.85 on 20-Jan-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs 196 on 29-Feb-2016. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 393 and Rs 374.05 respectively.
 
The promoters holding in the company stood at 74.9 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 5.57 % and 19.53 % respectively.
 
The stock is currently trading above its 50 DMA.
