GM Breweries Q2 PAT up 94.9% yoy at Rs21.85cr on inventory efficiency gains in the quarter

G M Breweries Ltd reported 59.7% growth in total revenues for the Sep-21 quarter on consolidated basis at Rs115.95cr. The revenues were higher by 67.07% on a sequential basis compared to Rs69.40cr revenues in the Jun-21 quarter.

The company saw a sharp growth in revenues, even net of excise and VAT as the markets and demand opened up in the quarter. The return to normalcy has been a major factor in the growth in top line revenues.

The consolidated Profit after tax (PAT) for the Sep-21 quarter was up 94.92% at Rs21.85cr. The spike in profits was largely led by a boost to the top line leading to better fixed cost absorption.


In addition, the inventory efficiency gains also played a part in improving the profits on a yoy basis. Net margins at 18.84% were better than 15.44% margins on a yoy basis and also better than 16.77% on a sequential basis.
