Tanla Platforms reported 37.52% rise in total revenues for the Jun-21 quarter on consolidated basis at Rs626.38cr on post pandemic demand recovery. On a sequential basis, the revenues were down -3.42% compared to Rs648.56cr revenues in the Mar-21 quarter predominantly due to the impact of COVID 2.0.

The company operates in developing IT solutions for cloud users and that is largely non-cyclical and also among the major digital growth areas within the IT industry. Jun-21 quarter was mildly hit by COVID 2.0.

The net profit for the Jun-21 quarter were up 32.92% at Rs104.49cr. This was largely driven by higher sales revenues and since the company operates largely on the variable cost model, the profits tend to be proportionate in growth with the scalability of sales revenues. The growth would have been higher had it not been for tax credits in the Jun-20 quarter.

The net margins were at 16.68% for the Jun-20 quarter compared to 17.26% in the Jun-20- quarter but higher than 15.81% reported as NPM for the sequential Mar-21 quarter.
