DCB Bank Ltd's Q3FY19 standalone net profit rises 51% yoy to Rs86.10cr : In-line with Estimates

The bank’s standalone NII stood at Rs293.60cr, up 17.22% yoy and 4.17% qoq.

DCB Bank’s Q3FY19 NII has improved by 17.2% yoy to Rs293.6cr against Rs 250.5 cr yoy. It’s net profit was in-line with the estimates, which has improved by 51% yoy to Rs86.1cr against Rs57cr yoy. Its GNPA for Q3FY19 came at 1.92% against 1.84% qoq, which has increased by 8bps qoq. NNPA for the quarter was at 0.71% as against 0.70% qoq.

  • Net Advances for the quarter grew by 23% yoy to Rs 22,888cr.
  • The bank deposits grew by 29% yoy to Rs 27,509cr.
  • CASA ratio stood at 24% as on Q3FY19 end.
  • Net Interest Margin for Q3FY19 stands at 3.83%, which was flat qoq.
  • Fresh slippages for the quarter stood at Rs114cr as against Rs97cr qoq.
  • Recoveries for Q3FY19 came at Rs27.9cr as against Rs37.3cr qoq.
  • Provisions for loans came at Rs40.1cr as against Rs31.9cr qoq and Rs34.2cr yoy.

Technical View:

DCB Bank Ltd is currently trading at Rs. 180, down by 3.15 points or 1.72% from its previous closing of Rs. 183.15 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 184.40 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 186 and Rs. 180 respectively. So far 85,17,754 (NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The stock is currently trading below its 200 DMA.
