Gulf Oil Lubricants ' Q4FY16 standalone net profit registers 38% yoy growth at Rs 30.04 crore

Oil Lubricants reported standalone net profit of Rs. 30.04 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2016, registering growth of 38.13 % yoy and 14.75% qoq. The company’s standalone revenue stood at Rs. 271.89 crore, up 3.06% yoy and 4.48% qoq.

Its standalone core operating profit of Rs. 44.97 crore for the quarter, clocked growth of 25.54% yoy and 9.44% qoq. Operating profit margin for the current quarter at 16.54% expanded by 296 bps yoy and 75 bps qoq.

For the year ended March 31, 2016, the company reported standalone net profit of Rs. 100.31 crore, growing by 29.58% yoy. Its standalone revenue for the period stood at Rs. 1011.35 crore, registering growth of 4.53% yoy.
Gulf Oil Lubricants ' core operating profit stood at Rs. 159.16 crore, recording growth of 23% yoy. Operating margin for the current period at 15.73% expanded by 236 bps yoy.

Corporate Action: Gulf Oil Lubricants India at its meeting held on May 11, 2016 has recommended a final dividend of Rs. 4 per equity share (200% on the Face Value of Rs. 2/- per equity share for the financial year 2015-16, subject to approval of the shareholders at the Annual General Meeting of the Company.

Stock Commentary:

Gulf Oil Lubricants India is currently trading at Rs. 548, up by Rs. 5 or 0.92% from its previous closing of Rs. 543 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 550 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 565 and Rs. 544 respectively. So far 13308(NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2691.79 crore.
The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 586.8 on 18-Apr-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 400 on 12-Jun-2015. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 548 and Rs. 510 respectively.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 64.94 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 22.45 % and 12.61 % respectively.
