Rallis India consolidated revenue for the quarter came in at Rs. 348.12 crore, registering 1.2% yoy decline. This was majorly driven by falling demand in seed business due to its seasonal pattern and sluggish agrochemical business.
EBITDA for the quarter fell by 7.8% yoy to Rs. 41.63 crore with a corresponding margin contraction of 86 bps. EBITDA margin for the quarter stood at 12%. This margin contraction was driven by increase in cost of raw material and other expenses by 46% and 22% respectively.
The PAT for the quarter came in at Rs. 31.01 crore, yoy decline of 10%.
Looking at the full year numbers, we see that revenue jumped by 10% to reach Rs.1678.3 crore while EBITDA rose by 15% to 263.37 crore. Company reported adjusted net profit of Rs.177.43 crore, up 21% yoy.
The company has declared a final dividend of Rs.2.5 and a one-time special dividend of Rs.1.25 out of the profit on disposal of the land at Turbhe.
Rallis India Ltd is currently trading at Rs. 244.2, down by 6.45 points or 2.57% from its previous closing of Rs. 250.65 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 244.5 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 249 and Rs. 235.5 respectively. So far 514295(NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The stock is currently trading above its 50 DMA.
