MBA Employability Master Class

Robert Gordon Universitys approach to preparing graduates for employment sees the university consistently placed among the top universities in all league tables.
RGU, based in Aberdeen, a global energy hub, is the top university in the UK for graduate employment according to the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA). It has the lowest unemployment rate for graduates in Scotland and second lowest in the whole of the UK at 2.8% (The Sunday Times University Guide 2013).
Improving employability is at the core of all RGUs teaching and those interested in learning how to gain skills and advice on how to improve their employability can attend a master class in New Delhi next week.
An MBA Employability Master Class will take place on Monday May 19th from 3pm to 6pm in the Habitat Centre, New Delhi.
The event is aimed to motivate people who are interested in improving their employability to come along to the event to hear from RGU about ways in which they can do that through some of the skills Graeme Stephen, an RGU lecturer, will share.
The main objective is to share some practical advice with the audience about how to improve their employability and to give them a fun exercise as part of the master class to allow them to road test these skills and get feedback from Graeme.
RGU has a long history of Indian students coming to study at the university who have really enjoyed its hands on method of education so Allan Scott, Director of the MBA Programme at the university, wanted to give something back to the Indian community.
The workshop will  include a competency based exercise for attendants to test their existing understanding of the necessary behaviours needed to operate effectively as part of a team, and as part of any work place around the world.
Graeme will also explain how improving employability is at the core of all teaching and support units at RGU, and participants will learn more firsthand about what RGU does to make sure it is regularly ranked at the number one university in the UK for graduate placement.

Finally, as well as giving the opportunity to learn more about improving employability, this event will give participants the chance to be considered for a spot scholarship for Aberdeen Business School.
