TimesPro and Loyola College to train Chennai Graduates

The first batch commenced on 28th July’2014 at Loyola Campus.

TimesPro an initiative of the Times of India Group and Loyola College have partnered to set-up an interactive learning centre to skill young graduates to be industry ready. Under this partnership, TimesPro in association with Loyola College will launch innovative programs to meet the huge demand of professionals for the corporate world. The first batch commenced on 28th July’2014 at Loyola Campus.
 
To start with, two programs have been launched viz. Post Graduate Diploma in Banking Management (PGDBM) and Post Graduate Diploma in Finance & Accounts (PGDFA).
 
The six-month PGDBM course is aimed to provide professionals into the banking industry. It focuses on training students to become industry-ready professionals with relevant skill set. The course is eligible to students who have completed a full-time graduate program in any stream with a minimum of 50% at the graduate level. The candidates are selected on clearing the Times Admission Process Test (TAP) along with a personal interview. Fine combination of academicians, practitioners and analysts, the course curriculum is industry vetted. The course lays emphasis on providing hands-on training to students through smart classes, onsite visits, projects, guest lectures, simulation and group discussions.
 

The PGDFA course is designed to give the candidates hand-on-experience in the area of Finance & Accounts giving them ample opportunities to begin their career with India’s leading corporate houses. It prepares students not just for a job but a career and leads them to become the best-in-class accounting professionals. For the program, SAP has extended support by providing SAP Knowledge Accelerator courses; relevant for Finance and Accounts professionals in addition to providing assessment enduring a joint certification on SAP training.
