Government will soon introduce schemes for the visually challenged and set up an inclusive society for differently-able.

“We welcome announcement to introduce new schemes for disabled people by the Hon’ble Finance Minister. We, at Jindal SAW, are glad that the government will soon introduce schemes for the visually challenged and set up an inclusive society for differently-able. This will assist the disabled Persons to purchase/fitting of Aids and Appliances. The government has also proposed to establish National level institutes for Universal Inclusive Design and Mental Health Rehabilitation along with a Centre for Disability Sports. We hope for a speedy implementation of these recommendations.
Introducing new currency notes with Braille senses and setting up 15 new brail presses is a positive step. This will assist the differently able to identify notes, be self dependant which will enable them to enjoy equal opportunities to lead an empowered life with dignity.”
