IDP Education, one of the largest student placement organizations in the country for higher education; announced the launch of a ‘virtual fair’ for Indian students looking forward to study in the UK. Starting from 29th January to 31st January 2013, the fair is a unique platform for aspiring students to interact with faculties and representatives of UK universities.
Harmeet Pental, Regional Director South Asia, North America & UK - IDP Education said, “The Virtual fair is one step to direct the students in selecting the right course, university and the right option for higher studies in the UK. IDP also helps the students with application submission, offer acceptance, tuition fee payment and visa assistance.”
Over 30 leading UK Universities are participating in the ‘virtual fair’ which is open for all Indian students. The fair offers FREE LIVE chats with the selected university representatives and a 24x7 window for offline queries. Students just need to register themselves on www.ukvirtualfair.com and proceed to the chat room. This IDP initiative would further help students with application fee waivers and scholarships in case shortlisted.
Each participating university has its profile online, featuring facilities, entry requirements and student lifestyle. Students can also watch video testimonials featuring fellow students, and learn more about their career prospects after graduation.
IDP India is also hosting the Global Education Fair in 8 cities across India with over 43 institutions from UK, U.S. & Canada participating in the events starting from 15th February – 25th February, 2013. The education fair will offer face-to-face interaction with institution representatives.
