India's GDP will touch $25 trillion in the next 25 years, says K.V. Kamath

According to the experienced banker and head of the National Bank for Financing Infrastructure and Development K V Kamath, India will have a GDP of USD 25 trillion in 25 years.

To aid in the growth of long-term infrastructure finance in the nation, NaBFID was established by the government last year. Kamath said that the NaBFID-related policies and framework were completed. As many as 12 board meetings of the bank have already been held, he added, so we are proceeding according to the government's plan.

In 25 years, India I see would have a USD 25 trillion economies, Kamath said at the Morningstar Investment Conference held in this city on Tuesday.

He said that the Indian economy is expanding at a rate of 8–10% CAGR. "The structure, processes, and policies are finished. The CEO has been appointed. Kamath stated, "We have to start financing right now."
