Motor & General Finance stock trades higher despite closing office from today

The company took the decision due to the Delhi Disaster Management Authority's orders to close all private offices due to the spread of Covid-19.

New Delhi-based Motor & General Finance Limited has closed office its office from today due to Delhi Disaster Management Authority(DDMA) orders to close all private offices due to the spread of Covid-19.

“In pursuance to DDMA orders issued and asked all private offices except those essential services to remain closed to have their staff working entirely from home. As such, our office has been closed from today, January 12, 2022, until further orders and staff have been advised to work from home,” the company said in a filing on Wednesday.

At around 3.04 pm, Motor & General Finance Ltd was trading at Rs30.25 per piece up by Rs0.5 or 1.68% from its previous closing of Rs29.75 per piece on the BSE.
