Marsons becomes first transformer company in Eastern India to get NABL accreditation

Marson Ltd,  one of India’s leading manufacturers of transformers, has become the first company in Eastern India to receive the NABL accredition for its test lab, which will allow the company to conduct all routine tests and tyoe tests including impulse tests for transformers up to 132 kV class.

“This accredition puts us alongside reputed testing agencies such as CPRI Bhopal and ERDA, which is a matter of great pride for our organization. Also, we are now amonst the handful of transformer companies across the world and the only company in Eastern India to have this prestigious accredition,” said the company in a statement.

The NABL accredition will translate into a significant competitive advantage as far as trasnformer supply is concerned. Further, it will add a new verticle to our business wherein Masons will now conduct NABL certified tests on transformers for various other transformer manufacturers based in Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal and the 9 Northeastern states will find Masons to be an attractive oprtion bearing in the mind the logistical and strategic advantages.
