The second episode will look at the employability crisis while the third and fourth episodes will be call-in shows on general admission queries answered by eminent career counsellors.
After the Board exam results, spirits are high but questions and confusion galore. As the students make the transition from school to college, CNN-IBN brings you the new season of ‘Campus Calling’, an informative and comprehensive series on college admissions, that will help students make the right decisions.
The four-week series will address admission and career-related queries with the help of eminent career counsellors. With the Delhi University (DU) introducing the four-year Bachelor’s degree program, there are a lot of questions among students. The first episode of the series will address these queries with a senior person from the DU who will analyse the probable impact on students.
The second episode will look at the employability crisis while the third and fourth episodes will be call-in shows on general admission queries answered by eminent career counsellors.
Also, on-ground reporting from various universities will bring you the latest campus buzz during the admission period and give updates on college admissions along with in-depth conversations with leading academicians.
Rajdeep Sardesai, Editor-in-Chief, CNN-IBN, IBN7 & IBN-Lokmat, said,“Once again a new batch of students is going to leave behind their protected and disciplined life in school and enter a whole new world of college education.
‘Campus Calling’ is our endeavour to help the students to get the best career advice and take an informed decision. With DU introducing a whole new structure of higher education, there are bigger questions to be answered which we hope to be able to do through our special programming.”
Don’t forget to watch ‘Campus Calling’ every Friday from June 7 to June 28 at 4:30 PM with a repeat on Saturday @ 5:30 PM only on CNN-IBN.
