Zee Learn skyrockets 7% after RattanIndia Finance acquires 6.42% stake

As per reports, RattanIndia Finance has acquired 6.42% stake in Zee Learn through the invocation of pledge.

Zee Learn, a part of Essel Group, skyrocketed over 7% on Sensex after RattanIndia Finance acquired 6.42% stake in the company. On Sensex, the Zee Learn stock has clocked an intraday high of Rs15.90 per piece. On the other hand, listed companies like RattanIndia Infrastructure and RattanIndia Power have also witnessed huge buying sentiment on the same index.

As per reports, RattanIndia Finance has acquired 6.42% stake in Zee Learn through the invocation of pledge.

On August 12, the RattanIndia Infrastructure informed exchanges that the Committee has been working to identify and evaluate the various available avenues and opportunities for business in pursuance of which it has: (a) suggested to the Board that the thrust should on getting into business sectors which are light on debt or preferably do not need any debt. Any debt-heavy business should be avoided. (b) recommended exploring business opportunities in new-age technologies including fintech.

At around 11.21 am, Zee Learn stock has corrected and was performing at Rs15.24 per piece up 2.63% on Sensex.

At the same time, RattanIndia Infrastructure was trading at the upper price band of Rs9.82 per piece surging by 4.91%. While RattanIndia Power stock zoomed by 3.23% and was trading at Rs3.83 per piece.
