A.M. Best affirms B++(Good) rating of The New India Assurance Company

The outlook on the company’s credit ratings is Stable.

AM Best has affirmed the Financial Strength Rating of B++(Good) and the Long-Term issuer Credit Rating of ‘bbb+’ (Good) of The New India Assurance Company Limited. The outlook of these Credit Ratings is Stable.

“The ratings reflect the Company's balance sheet strength, which A.M. Best assesses as very strong, as well as its adequate operating performance, favorable Business profile, and marginal enterprise risk management (ERM),” the company said in a filing on Saturday.

At around 12.45 pm, New India Assurance Company Ltd was trading at Rs160.10 per piece down by Rs0.4 or 0.25% from its previous closing of Rs160.50 per piece on the BSE.
