AMCs report net inflow of Rs. 765bn in FY13

Total asset under management of mutual funds stood at Rs. 7.01 trillion as on March 31, 2013

Asset management companies (AMCs) reported net inflow of Rs. 765.39 billion in the financial year 2012-13 against a net outflow of over Rs. 220 billion in the preceding fiscal, according to SEBI data.

During FY10-11, a net amount of more than Rs. 490 billion was redeemed of the MF industry.

At gross level, mutual funds mobilised over Rs 72.67 trillion in FY12-13, while there was redemption worth Rs. 71.91 trillion—resulting in a net inflow of 765.39 billion.

Total asset under management of mutual funds stood at Rs. 7.01 trillion as on March 31, 2013.

Mutual funds mobilised Rs. 830 billion in 2009-10, SEBI data indicated.
