In April due to Covid-19 lockdown, the sales volume was lowest at 3.141 tons and increased to 91.849 tons in May after relaxations in restrictions announced by the government. The sales volume further grew by 1,43,321 in June.
The Covid-19 Pandemic had led to nationwide lockdown starting March 24, 2020. The company informed the exchanges that it complied with the directives issued by the Central Government and the respective State Governments to combat the pandemic.
Its operations and manufacturing activities at all offices and plants had been temporarily closed till the government announced relaxations. The company resumed operations at its plants gradually from April 22, 2020 onwards from Raipur.
