Bannari Amman Sugars net profit declines to Rs21.85cr; Stock trades flat

The company approved and recommended the payment of dividend at Rs10/- per equity share (100%) of the face value of Rs10/- each for FY21.

Bannari Amman Sugars Ltd. revenue from operations stood at Rs371.89cr in the quarter ended March 2021 compared to Rs478.42cr in the same quarter last year, a drop of 22.27% yoy. In FY21, the company’s revenue stood at Rs1561.12cr compared to Rs1609.29cr in FY20, a decline of 3% yoy.

The company’s Net profit for the March ended quarter was Rs21.85cr compared to Rs31.33crduring the same quarter last year, a drop of 30.26% yoy. In FY21, net profit declined 3.66% to Rs92.14cr compared to Rs95.63cr in FY20.

The Board of Directors of Bannari Amman Sugars Ltd at its meeting held ton Monday has approved and recommended the payment of dividend at Rs10/- per equity share (100%) of the face value of Rs.10/- each for the financial year 2020-2021.

At around 10.51 am, Bannari Amman Sugars Ltd was trading at Rs1855.45 per piece up Rs4.65 or 0.25% from its previous closing of Rs1,850.80 per piece on the BSE.
