BPCL plans to raise Rs3,000cr through private placement of NCDs; Stock up 1%

Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) is planning to raise up to Rs3,000cr during the current financial year 2021-22 through private placement of unsecured non-convertible debentures subject to market conditions.

The debentures are proposed to be listed on the Debt Market segment of the BSE and NSE.

“The details of the issue viz., class of investors, issue price, tenor, interest rate, etc. will depend on the market conditions which will be intimated on the crystallization of the issue,” the company said in a filing.

At around 3.10 pm, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd was trading at Rs421.75 per piece up Rs4.00 or 0.96% from its previous closing of Rs417.75 per piece on the BSE.
