BSE informs voluntary liquidation of wholly-owned subsidiary 'BSE Sammaan'

BSE Sammaan is not a material subsidiary of BSE Limited and therefore it will not impact materially on consolidated financials of BSE Limited.

BSE Limited has informed that BSE Sammaan CSR Limited, a wholly- owned subsidiary of BSE Limited, is under the process of voluntary liquidation.

BSE Sammaan had built a business that was predicated on its platform Sammaan 2.0 and its source of revenue was through subscription and consulting fees. Now, BSE Sammaan has handed over this platform to the Ministry of Corporate Affairs and is to be relaunched as the National CSR Exchange.

Hence, there will be no further business operations and therefore management of BSE Sammaan has initiated the process of voluntary liquidation.

It may be noted that BSE Sammaan is not a material subsidiary of BSE Limited and therefore it will not impact materially on consolidated financials of BSE Limited.

The amount and percentage of the turnover contributed by unit or division during the last financial year (As on 31st March, 2021) is Rs11,09,754 at 0.02%.

At around 12:05 PM, BSE Ltd was trading at Rs880.50 per piece down by Rs0.25 or 0.03%.
