C&C Constructions gallops 19% after order win

The company said it has been awarded a project by Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. for Transmission line package TW01 for 400 KV D/C Mohindergarh- Bhiwani Transmission Line including Supply of Conductor insulators associated with Northern Region Strengthening Scheme XXXV.

C & C Constructions Ltd ended at Rs. 19.4, up by Rs. 3.1 or 19.02% from its previous closing of Rs. 16.3 on the BSE. The company said it has been awarded a project by Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. for Transmission line package TW01 for 400 KV D/C Mohindergarh- Bhiwani Transmission Line including Supply of Conductor insulators associated with Northern Region Strengthening Scheme XXXV.
The Contract value of the project is Rs.73.61 crore.

The scrip opened at Rs. 17.85 and touched a high and low of Rs. 19.55 and Rs. 17.2 respectively. A total of 2693549(NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 41.48 crore.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 touched a 52 week high of Rs. 25 on 05-Oct-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 8.12 on 24-May-2016. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 17.43 and Rs. 14.45 respectively.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 36.99 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 9.92 % and 53.08 % respectively.

The stock traded above its 50 DMA.
