Coachin Shipyard Limited, the largest shipbuilding and maintenance facility in India has informed the exchange regarding receipt of order from Indian Navy.

The company has been declared as L1 in the tender floated by the Indian Navy for construction of 6 nos. of Next Generation Missile Vessels (NGMV).

The estimated total order value is around Rs10,000cr.

Cochin Shipyard ended at Rs380.30 per piece up by Rs27.15 or 7.69% from its previous closing of Rs353.15 per piece on the BSE.
