Cochin Shipyard extends temporary suspension of normal operations; Stock rises ~3%

The suspension has been extended until May 23, 2021, in view of the instructions of the Government of Kerala to contain the spread of the second wave of Covid-19 Pandemic.

Cochin Shipyard Limited had extended the temporary suspension of normal operations except essential services until May 23, 2021, in order to contain the spread of the second wave of Covid-19 Pandemic.

The company took the decision in view of the instructions of the Government of Kerala dated May 14, 2021, to extend the restrictions up to May 23, 2021, after earlier announcing it until May 16, 2021 from May 6, 2021.

Cochin Shipyard Ltd was trading at Rs394.20 per piece up Rs11.05 or 2.88% at around 10.59 am, from its previous closing of Rs383.15 per piece on the BSE.
