Coffee Day Enterprises said in the filing that its Board of Directors on August 21, 2020, has appointed Retired Hon'ble Justice K.L. Manjunath, Ex-Judge of Hon.  High court, Karnataka to suggest and oversee actions for recovery of the dues from MACEL and to help on any other associated matters, the company said.

Ashok Kumar Malhotra Ex-DIG CBI and Dr. M. R. Venkatesh, Senior partner of M/S. Agastya Legal LLP, New Delhi submitted the Investigation report on 24th July 2020 in the duly convened Board meeting. In the same meeting, the Board has authorized the Chairman to appoint an ex-judge of the Hon. Supreme Court or the Hon. High Court, or any other person of eminence, to suggest and oversee actions for recovery of the dues from MACEL and to help on any other associated matters, the company added.

The stock is currently trading at Rs26.05, up by Rs1.2 or 4.83% from its previous closing of Rs24.85 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs26.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs26.05 and Rs26.05 respectively.
