Shares of Dr Reddy’s
were trading 1% higher after the company launched Tadalafil Tablets USP, a therapeutic equivalent generic version of Cialis (tadalafil) Tablets in the United States market.
"Dr Reddy's Tadalafil Tablets are available in four strengths including 2.5 mg, 5 mg, 10 mg, and 20 mg, each in 30-count bottle size. Cialis is a trademark of Eli Lilly and company," the company said in a press note to the exchanges on Wednesday.
As per, IMS National Sales Perspective’s Retail and Non-Retail MAT data released in January 2019, the Cialis brand and generic had US sales of ~$1.7bn MAT for the most recent twelve months ending in January 2019.
Dr Reddys Laboratories Ltd's share price is currently at Rs2,792.90, up by Rs16.45 or 0.59%, from its previous close of Rs2,776.45 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs2,782.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs2,812 and Rs2,782, respectively. So far, 3,69,508 (NSE+BSE) shares have been traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs46,107.38cr.
