Dynacons stock spurts 10% on winning e-governance contract worth Rs7.46cr for GMDMA website

Dynacons Systems & Solutions Limited won an e-governance contract worth Rs7.46cr for the development & management of the GMDMA website, disaster management app, and command & control system along with comprehensive maintenance of automatic weather stations, flow level sensors from the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai.

The company stock was in demand on Wednesday and at atound 12.15 pm, Dynacons Systems & Solutions Ltd was trading at day's high of Rs139.70 per piece up by Rs12.7 or 10% from its previous closing of Rs127 per piece on the BSE.

“Dynacons Systems & Solutions Ltd., has won one of the prestigious e-Governance contracts worth Rs746 Lakh for Development & Management of GMDMA Website, Disaster Management App and Command & Control System along with Comprehensive Maintenance of Automatic Weather Stations, Flow Level Sensor from Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai.

The project scope includes development, customization & maintenance of Disaster Management Website & Disaster Management App (both in android & IOS) during the entire contract period of 3 years,” company said in a filing on Tuesday.

The company said, automatic Rainfall data collection from all the Weather Stations across Mumbai city & integration with Command & Control System. The real time data will be displayed on DM Website & DM App and publish the civic alerts, news as given from time to time. It also includes development & management of Command & Control System with real time dashboards. The redundant network connectivity from all the Weather stations to Data Centre & Command & Control center must be implemented as part of the project. The support includes 24 x 7 during Monsoon period & 16 hours during non-monsoon period.

The Contract involves capture of real time data using IOT (Internet of Things) sensors and the processing and usage of these data streams for monitoring using dashboards.

The implementation of the above system will enable
  • Real time civic alerts
  • Realtime data availability on the Disaster Management App & website
  • Preventive actions to be taken well in time
