, the parent company of Royal Enfield, in its filing to the exchanges on Monday informed that the company’s total commercial vehicle sales for March dropped by 7.6% on yoy to 8,676 units vs. 9,411 units in the previous year.
Total CV sales in FY18 stood at 72,969 units compared to 65,932 units in the same period under review a year ago.
Further, domestic sales of Eicher Trucks and Buses (ETB) in March stood at 7329 compared to 7980 in the same period a year ago, while sales of Volvo Trucks India (VTI) stood at 131 units compared to 166 units in the same period a year ago.
Moreover, exports sales of ETB for March 2019 stood at 1,216 units vs 1265 units a year ago.
Eicher Motors Ltd's share price is currently at Rs20,298.45, down by Rs239.65 or 1.17%, from its previous close of Rs20,538.10 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs20,700 and has touched a high and low of Rs20,764.80 and Rs20,166.75, respectively. So far, 1,64,586 (NSE+BSE) shares have been traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs56,035.07cr.
