Godrej Agrovet hits record high after acquiring remaining 25.10% stake in Godrej Maxximilk

GMPL has become a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company with effect from June 21, 2021.

Godrej Agrovet Limited has acquired an additional 25.10% of the Paid-up Equity Share Capital of Godrej Maxximilk Private Limited (GMPL), a Subsidiary company, from the existing equity shareholders, thereby increasing its total shareholding in GMPL from 74.90% to 100%.

“Consequent to the aforementioned acquisition, GMPL has become wholly-owned subsidiary of Godrej Agrovet Limited with effect from June 21, 2021,” company said in a filing on Tuesday.

The company stock was bullish on Wednesday. At around 12:27 PM, Godrej Agrovet Ltd was trading at Rs646.90 per piece up by Rs70.5 or 12.23% from its previous closing of Rs576.40 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs581.15 and has touched a record high of Rs661.05 and low of Rs581.15 respectively during intraday trade on Wednesday.
