Kirloskar Industries offices to remain closed until June 1 due to Covid-19 threat; Stock ends higher

The Pune-based company had first closed offices on April 6, 2021, and extended shutdown further on May 1 for two weeks. Now it has extended it from May 16 to June 1.

Kirloskar Industries Limited informed the exchanges Saturday that considering the gravity of the threat posed by Covid-19 and in compliance with the directives issued by the State Government, offices of Kirloskar Industries Limited will remain closed until June 1, 2021, and all employees of the company will manage work from home.

The Pune based company had first closed offices from April 6, 2021 and extended shutdown further on May 1 for two weeks. Now it has extended it from May 16 to June 1.

“Considering the gravity of the threat posed by Covid-19 and in compliance with the directives issued by the State Government, offices of Kirloskar Industries Limited will remain closed from May 16, 2021 till June 1, 2021 and all employees of the company will manage work from home,” company said.

Kirloskar Industries Ltd trade on Monday ended at Rs1,510.60 per piece up by Rs26.3 or 1.77% from its previous closing of Rs1,484.30 per piece on the BSE.
