Lotus Chocolate zooms 10% after resuming manufacturing activities

The company had closed manufacturing operations due to lack of manpower on account of Coronavirus pandemic.

Lotus Chocolate Company Limited has resumed its manufacturing operations. The company on June 1, 2020 had informed about the suspension of all manufacturing operations due to lack of manpower on account of Coronavirus pandemic.

“We wish to inform you that the Company has resumed its manufacturing operations w.e.f. July 6, 2020 with applicable guidelines issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India and Government of Telangana,” company informed the exchanges on Friday. 

Lotus Chocolate Company Ltd is currently trading at Rs18, up by Rs1.7 or 10.43% from its previous closing of Rs16.30 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs17.85 and has touched a high and low of Rs18.50 and Rs16 respectively.
