May’19 auto sales: Atul down 13.03% yoy, SML Isuzu rises 17%

Total sales from April to May rose 1.32% at 6,810 unit vs. 6,721 units in the same period a year ago, said Atul Auto in a press note today.

Atul Auto registered a 1.32% yoy drop in May sales, while SML Isuzu reported a growth of 17.1% yoy in the same period under review.

As per press note released by Atul Auto, the company sold 3,464 units in May vs. 3,983 units in the same period a year ago. Total sales from April to May rose 1.32% at 6,810 unit vs. 6,721 units in the same period a year ago.

Besides, SML Isuzu’s auto sales in May stood at 1,689 units vs. 1,442 units in May 2018. In April to May FY20 sales stood at 3,068 units vs. 2,590 units in the same period a year ago.
 
Atul Auto Ltd ended at Rs313.20 up by Rs3.8 or 1.23% from its previous closing of Rs309.40 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs312.50 and touched a high and low of Rs318.95 and Rs312 respectively. A total of 12,321 (NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs686.49cr.

SML ISUZU Ltd ended at Rs830 down by Rs2.5 or 0.3% from its previous closing of Rs832.50 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs815.05 and touched a high and low of Rs832.55 and Rs815, respectively. A total of, 19,594 (NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs1,194.35cr.
