Nifty Metal trades broadly flat; Hindustan Zinc, Midhani lead gainers

Metal stocks are trading marginally higher on Friday after taking charge in the previous session. At around 12.35 pm, the index is trading at 2,491.60 up 2.95 points or 0.12% after opening at 2,486.35. The index has touched an intraday high of 2,512.50 and low of 2,475.00 on Friday.
Hindustan Zinc, Midhani were among top gainers, as these stocks were above 3% each. Hindustan Zinc is still capitalising on the basis of strong results for the quarter ended September 2020 (Q2FY21).
Welspun Corp, SAIL, MOIL and Jindal Steel also gained..
Ratnamani Metal and Tubes Limited (-1.24%) is the biggest loser. Coal India, JSW Steel, APL Apollo and NMDC are also performing on a negative note.
Domectic Market Indices are making major gains currently. At around 12.42 pm, BSE Sensex is trading at 41,762.01 up 421.85 points or 1.02% and Nifty50 at 12,226.35 up 106.05 points or 0.87%.
