The real estate sector has seen interest from traders and investors throughout the market session. Real estate developers expect a 25 to 30% growth in residential sales ahead of festive seasons.
At around 10:35 AM, Nifty Realty was trading at 421.20 up 3.35 points or 0.80%. The index has touched a new all-time high of 423.45.
Sobha was the top bull zoomed by 3.5% after hitting 52-week high at Rs807.90 per piece followed by Oberoi Realty surging 3.14%.
Brigade advanced 2.65% at Rs379.95 per piece. The stocks hit new 52-week high at Rs386 per piece during early trading hours on Monday. Indiabulls Real Estate and Hemisphere Properties jumped 1.03% and 0.70% respectively to lift the index.
Index heavyweight Godrej Properties also gained by 0.44% at Rs1,587.35 per piece. Sunteck and Phoenix was trading marginally up while DLF was on a flat note.
On the other hand, Prestige was the only loser dipped by 1.04% at Rs418.30 per piece.
