Raitel jumps 3.5% on work order worth Rs300cr from Indian Air Force

The contract is for the implementation of Secure OPS Network to be executed over a period of 12 months.

RailTel Corporation of India Ltd. has received a Contract from the Directorate of Information Technology, Indian Air Force, Ministry of Defence for implementation of Secure OPS Network for a value of Rs299.95cr (Inclusive of GST). The work is to be executed over a period of 12 months.
At around 9.20 am, Railtel Corporation of India Ltd was trading at Rs129.50 per piece up by Rs4.35 or 3.48% from its previous closing of Rs125.15 per piece on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs130.20 and has touched a high and low of Rs131.70 and Rs128.70 respectively, early on Friday.
